Student Studio Time
Studio time is available on set days and times and is supervised by guild members and experienced students. This time is intended for you to practice the skills you’ve learned in class—not for production work. While monitors don’t provide formal instruction, they’re always happy to share tips and help with your projects.
We do our best to keep as many sessions available as possible, but please note that some dates may be affected by holidays or other events.
Details
To be eligible for student studio time, individuals must meet the following criteria:
1. Previously completed at least one full session of classes at ClayWorks Studio.
2. Be currently enrolled in a class.
Punch cards may not be used in place of class registration.
Glazing of any kind is not permitted during studio time when classes are in session.
Sessions are sold in packages of 5 or 10, and you’re welcome to purchase as many as you’d like to use during your class term. If you have extra sessions left over at the end of the term, you can carry them forward into the next session or over the summer/winter break.
Students must be 18+ to participate in practice studio time.
5 sessions $55.00 +tax
10 sessions $85.00 +tax
During winter and summer sessions, students are welcome to finish their pieces and will have one glaze day included per punch card.
