Membership Options

The Brantford Potters' Guild has two membership options available to those who are interested in becoming part of our community!
Membership runs from October 1st through to September 30th.
If you are an existing member looking to renew your membership you may do so on or after October 1st.
Please read through the options carefully.
All prices are subject to HST.

$32 annually

Details​

Active Memberships can be purchased at any point during the year, the fee will not be pro-rated.

​

This membership option does not include use of ClayWorks Studio.

Volunteering for the guild is highly encouraged, but not mandatory.​​

Use of ClayWorks Studio​

Details​

Applicants will fall under one of two categories:

  1. You are a ClayWorks student who is ready to become a member with the recommendation of one of our teachers.

  2. You are a potter with experience who has not taken classes at ClayWorks but has a portfolio of work.

Procedure for Approval:​

  1. We hold prospective new member interviews on the second Thursday of the month from January through June and September through November. No interviews are conducted over the summer or in December.

  2. Read the Code of Conduct, ClayWorks Studio Policies and Studio Member Service Hours Policy.

  3. Fill out the appropriate application form:
    Category 1
    Category 2

  4. Once your application is submitted it will be reviewed by the studio assistant, who will contact you to invite you to the next intake date.

  5. Once approved, you will be given the password to access the Studio Membership payment and registration page.

 

Additional requirements:

  1. All studio members must complete 36 mandatory service hours annually.

  2. In addition, applicants must be 18 or older on October 1st of the current membership year.

*Fee Information:

The annual membership fee is $365, however, if you join the studio beginning April 1st, the membership fee is reduced to $183.
