Record your service hours
You are in the studio to offer support to our students. You are not required to teach them anything, but tips and tricks are always appreciated when they ask. Often students just want to sit down at the wheel and trim their pots or throw some work and quietly practice.
Student studio time runs during class semesters. To qualify students must have taken one full class session with us and be currently enrolled in a class to participate (or equivalent at another clay facility AND with approval from the studio manager and their current ClayWorks teacher). Students are free to hand build and work on the wheel during their practice session. All glazing must happen during their class time only.
We also offer these sessions over the summer and between the fall and winter class terms. During these sessions, previous students can use the studio during the allotted times and work with clay for 4 visits and have one glazing session every 5th visit. This glazing session is only offered during our class downtime.
