Service Description

This five week class is offered to students who can comfortably and consistently centre and throw 2 pound cylinders. In this class, students will focus on creating Bowls. Some of the types of bowls demonstrated in this course will be berry bowls, nesting bowls, distorting bowls, split rim bowls, cut out rims, connecting bowls, square bowls, texturizing bowls, footed bowls and pedestal bowls. Students are encouraged to think about the types of bowls they would like to make prior to the first day of class. This class is taught by Patsy Wicha. Classes run 1:00 - 4:00 pm from April 17th - May 15th. All glazes and firing are included in the class fee. All clay must be purchased from the studio and is not included in the class fee. Students must bring their own tools.
