Our class terms are held in the fall, winter and spring. We do not offer regular classes over the summer months.

We an inclusive and friendly environment that offers a variety of classes and workshops open to those with all levels of experience. There are classes geared for kids aged 6-12, youth aged 12-17 and adults 18+.

Registration opens about 1 month before the term starts. Subscribe to our mailing list here to be kept in the loop. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis, and spaces cannot be held. Classes that are undersubscribed 1 week before the first class will be cancelled. To register, see our class registration page here.

We do not offer private classes at this time.

30 hours of instructed class time to develop skills on the wheel and/or hand building techniques. As well as all materials and equipment required to complete your pieces. All clay must be purchased from the studio. Tools are available for an additional fee, but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring them.

ClayWorks Studio is located at 111 Sherwood Drive, Unit 3, in the east-most building of the Brantford Artisan’s Village complex (the old Cordage building). Find an interactive map on our contact page here.

Students who have taken at least one full 10-week class term are eligible to purchase studio time outside of classes. For full details, schedule and monitors, click here.

If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather or instructor illness, we will provide a make up class. Classes missed for any other reason will not be accomodated.

A full refund will be given up to two weeks prior to start of class. Less than two weeks will be given a refund minus a 20% administration fee. No refunds will be given once classes have started.
