Being influenced by my painting and printmaking background, I often bring those elements into my clay work and use underglazes and handmade stamps to enhance the pieces. Clay and glaze are vitrified into stone and I find that fascinating. Often I leave the clay exposed and the glaze to do its own thing to pay tribute to the medium.
I work out of a studio in my home and at ClayWorks Studio.
