Christie Gruppe

Christie is an award winning artist that enjoys making joyful and whimsical function based pottery. After first discovering her love for clay at an evening course almost 30 years ago, she went on to earn her diploma in Ceramics from Sheridan College, and a BFA in Ceramics from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Christie has been teaching pottery to adults and children for over 20 years, covering everything from pinch pots, and extruding to throwing and surface design. Christie strives to help her students discover their voice in clay in a fun, nurturing and supportive class environment.
